Dr. Berry was born and raised in Homestead, Florida. Upon graduating from high school she left Homestead for Gainesville to become a GATOR! Her education includes:

In 1993 Dr. Berry became the first female from the L.S.U. Orthodontic Program to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Board certification involves additional testing and presentation of orthodontic cases to the Board. Only 30% of the Orthodontists in the U.S. complete this process.

Dr. Berry maintained a private practice in the Ormond Beach/Daytona Beach area for 10 years prior to relocating to the Pinellas county area in 1995.

She resides with her husband Jim, 1 furry four-footed child (cat) Bambi, and various sea creatures on the edge of Tampa Bay.

When not in the office Dr. Ruth enjoys flying, fishing, and boating. She is active in the Seminole Rotary Club, a member of the Largo Chamber of Commerce, and volunteers at All Children’s Hospital.
