dr.jpgI am so excited to have you consider our office for your orthodontic needs. There is nothing that can compare to the pleasure I get from giving someone a wonderful smile. That moment when the braces finally come off and you see your new smile is priceless to me, and I would love to share it with you.

About Me:
I was born and raised in Homestead, Florida. Upon graduating from high school, I left Homestead for Gainesville to become a GATOR! And yes, I do bleed orange and blue (just ask my husband). My education includes:

  • BS in Microbiology with high honors – University of Florida, 1977
  • Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) with honors – University of Florida, 1983
  • Orthodontic Specialty Certificate – Louisiana State University, 1985

In 1993, I became the first female from the LSU Orthodontic Program to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Board certification involves additional testing and presentation of orthodontic cases to the Board. Only 30% of the orthodontists in the United States complete this process.

Participation in Professional Associations:

  • American Association of Orthodontists
  • Southern Association of Orthodontists
  • Florida Association of Orthodontists
  • American Dental Association
  • Pinellas County Dental Association

I was in private practice in the Ormond Beach/Daytona Beach area for 10 years prior to relocating to the Pinellas County area with my husband in 1995.

I share life with my husband, one furry four-footed child (cat), and various sea creatures on the edge of Tampa Bay. When not in the office, I enjoy flying, fishing, boating and Gator games. I am also a member of the Rotary Club of Seminole.
